Privacy policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data actorheadshots.co.uk collects, why, and your rights under UK data protection law. Questions: hello@actorheadshots.co.uk.
What we collect
When you book: your name, email, mobile number, any note you add, the session you chose and its time, and how you found us (for example the advert you clicked). Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Photographers also give us their profile details, calendar availability and payout details through Stripe.
Why we use it
To arrange and confirm your booking, send it to your photographer, deliver your gallery, take payment, handle changes and refunds, and keep the records the law requires. We rely on our contract with you and, for records, our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Your photographer, so they can run your session. Stripe, for payment. lemon.gallery, where your gallery is delivered. Google Calendar, where the booking is added to your photographer’s calendar. Our email provider, to send confirmations. We do not sell your data.
Cookies and measurement
Measurement tags (Google Analytics and Google Ads) load only if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. They tell us which adverts lead to bookings. If you choose Reject, nothing loads.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records for six years, as UK tax law requires. Everything else for as long as needed to provide the service, then it is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use, or ask us to stop processing it. Email us and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
