Questions
How is a listing different from the roster?
Roster photographers are vetted and take bookings online: clients pick a free time from their calendar and pay up front, and we take a commission. They are listed free. A listing puts your profile and website in the directory, and clients contact you directly.
Can a listed studio take bookings too?
Yes. Apply from your dashboard: connect Google Calendar and Stripe payouts, set your hours and sessions, and submit for review. Once approved, actors book your free time on your profile and pay online, and your listing tier keeps its tag and placement.
What does the Affiliate tag do?
It sits next to your name wherever you appear, and Affiliate listings rank above standard ones in the directory. Studios on the same plan take turns at the top each day.
Where do article placements appear?
Members and Partner studios fill the recommended photographers panel on our guides and articles, and are the first we name when we write about your area.
Will ChatGPT recommend my studio?
No one can guarantee it. AI assistants recommend from sources they can read and trust, and they change what they say. A listing gives your studio a clear, structured, crawlable profile on a site about nothing but actor headshots, which is the kind of page they cite. Keep your profile current and your own site consistent with it.
Do links to my website count for SEO?
Links from paid listings are marked as sponsored, as Google’s guidelines require. They still send you visitors who are ready to book, and they keep both sites in good standing with Google.
Can I cancel or upgrade?
Yes. Cancel from your dashboard and your listing stays up until the year you paid for ends. When you upgrade, the unused part of your old plan comes off your next renewal.
